📌 Overview

This guide explains how to use a provided list of disposable/temporary email domains to block spam registrations in XenForo 2.3.x. The ZIP file includes a set of email patterns that can be entered into XenForo's "Banned Emails" system to prevent users from registering with throwaway email addresses.

🔧 Purpose of Banned Emails in XenForo

When you add patterns to Admin CP → Users → Banned emails, XenForo will:
  • ❌ Block account registration using a matching email
  • ❌ Block users from changing to a matching email
  • ✅ Show the "reason" field to moderators
👉 This does not affect already-registered users using those domains.

✅ How to Use It (Recommended Safe Method)

Use the TXT file to pick and manually add common domains into XenForo:
  1. Go to Admin CP → Users → Banned Emails
  2. Click Add banned email
  3. Enter a domain pattern (e.g., *@1secmail.com)
  4. Enter a reason (e.g., Temp mail)
  5. Save – repeat for other top entries
Suggested starter list (safe and popular):
*@1secmail.com
*@guerrillamail.com
*@mailinator.com
*@tempmail.*
*@10minutemail.com
*@yopmail.com
*@dispostable.com

🔄 How to Remove a Banned Email

Go to Admin CP → Users → Banned Emails, find the pattern, and click Delete. You can also edit or update the reason as needed.
